PepsiCo is a world leader in convenience foods and beverages, with some of the world's most popular brand names - some established for more
than 100 years.

PepsiCo UK & Ireland is a large business with around 5,500 people that brings together a number of power-brands including Walkers, Quaker and Tropicana. Following the integration of these businesses in 2004, the company went through a period of organisational change.

Against this back-drop, Leap Ahead was brought in to provide an independent assessment of PepsiCo UK & Ireland's sales organisation and help identify areas for improvement to drive performance.

Leap Ahead conducted a detailed diagnosis of the capabilities of the sales organisation and identified 10 key competencies as critical success factors against which sales processes, tools and skills were benchmarked, highlighting areas for attention. Based on the results of this process, Leap Ahead made specific recommendations for improvement
and developed work schedules for the sales organisation to implement.

As a key part of the organisation capability building programme, PepsiCo UK & Ireland's VP of Sales asked Leap Ahead to provide leadership coaching and team development for his senior team.

As a result, the executive team has a clearer focus on the culture and core values it wants to inspire in the rest of the organisation to enhance performance and a well-defined work schedule to help it achieve its goals.
